Converting the Origami TNT from a tarp to a tent is a straightforward process. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you make the transformation quickly and efficiently:
- Lay Out the Tarp: Spread the Origami TNT flat on the ground, with the bottom or buckles facing up.
- Fold and Snap in the Corners: Match the color coordinated buckles of each corner to shape the tarp into the tent.
- Insert the Poles: Secure the tent pole handles into the Vert-Trek Stabilization straps. Set the poles to 46” long. These poles will create the framework for the tent.
- Bring the Tent Upright: Roll the edge over so the tent is upright facing.
- Anchor One Side: Secure the two corners of one side of the tarp using stakes. Clip in the remaining color coordinated buckles and guy out the vestibule area.
- Anchor Other Side: Follow step 5 making sure the tarp is taut to provide a stable base.
- Secure SinglePoint Guyouts: Pull the guyouts of the tarp tight and secure them with stakes. This will ensure the sides are taut and provide maximum protection against wind and rain.
- Adjust and Fine-Tune: Make any necessary adjustments to the tension of the tarp and the placement of the stakes to ensure the tent is stable and secure.
*Note, we like to pack the Origami with the buckles snapped in place for a quicker and more convenient tent pitch.
With the Origami TNT set up as a 2-person tent, you can now enjoy the protection and comfort it provides. Whether you're resting after a long day of hunting or using the shelter to glass from, the Origami TNT offers a reliable and lightweight solution that helps you Thrive on the Mountain.
