Need attachments for rifle

It was my understanding that these polls came with attachments to turn the polls into shooting sticks when needed. They are not with the product. Do I need to buy them separately?

Trekking Poles

Bought these as a gift for Pops for Christmas and he likes them quite a bit - I wanted to get him a top quality trekking pole and I found these as the best on the market - the combination of carbon fiber / aluminum was very unique and provides additional strength. I had recently used the Black Diamond carbon fiber trekking poles and I think the PEAX Equipment is a superior product, specifically with the integration of aluminum at the base of the pole.
